Romans 2:23-25

23 You who boast of the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? 24 (A)For, as it is written, “Because of you the name of God is reviled among the Gentiles.”[a]

25 (B)Circumcision, to be sure, has value if you observe the law; but if you break the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.(C)

  1. 2:24 According to Is 52:5 the suffering of Israel prompts her enemies to revile God. Paul uses the passage in support of his point that the present immorality of Israelites is the cause of such defamation.
